Kathy's versatility as a copywriter has led to award-winning successes and effective results in online, print and broadcast advertising. During her 15+ years in advertising, she's accumulated an impressive portfolio writing for diverse audiences. Her copywriting experience includes online ads, print campaigns, direct mail, TV, and radio plus Web site content.

Her first venture into advertising was a big one. She partnered with three creatives from Ogilvy & Mather to form Justamere Agency. Justamere was located in a 38-room lakeside lodge on Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey. Status meetings were held on the agency boat and clients frequently packed a swimsuit. Within two years, Justamere won new accounts and grew from four founding partners to a creative hot shop with 38 young, talented staff members. Advertising Age dedicated a 5-page article declaring Justamere “the Fallon McElligott of the East.” Because of Justamere’s creative reputation, Kathy was invited to be a panel judge at the New York ANDY Awards.

Setting her sights on the Big Apple, Kathy accepted a position in New York with ADWEEK Magazine’s commercial library division, Adbank. While there, she wrote and coordinated ad campaigns and direct mail programs promoting their services and Adweek's Best Spots videos.

Her entrepreneurial spirit was tested again when she founded AKA Advertising. With three partners, they won several accounts including Barnes and Noble College Bookstores, Kopper's Chocolates, Charter Financial, Diversion Magazine, and the Lighthouse Foundation. As a business owner, she was highly involved in new business pitches, project management and managing a freelance creative staff.

Eager to learn new interactive technologies, Kathy accepted a senior copywriter position with Organic, an international Internet marketing services company. Her ad campaign for Target Stores won her a prestigious One Show Interactive Award and Communication Arts Award.

Kathy transitioned to consulting freelance work with an impressive client list including: Revlon, Maybelline, Cover Girl, Neutrogena, M&M Mars, TIAA-CREF Investment Services, KOOL, MetLife, FujiFilm, Circuit City and many other top brand accounts.
